The 2010 MotoGP World Championship began in style, at Qatar's Losail International Circuit last weekend, and reigning title holder, Valentino Rossi, wasted no time in stamping his authority on the new season, with a resounding victory, after an intense race-long battle amongst the leaders, following Casey Stoner's crash-out on lap six.

Filling the first 2010 Grand Prix podium, at Losail, were Valentino Rossi, 1st, Jorge Lorenzo, 2nd, and Andrea Dovizioso, 3rd, with the Moto2 inaugural podium seeing Shoya Tomizawa in first place, followed by Alex Debon and Jules Cluzel, second and third.
