When the date "11 11 11" occurs, this is said to be of major astrological significance, and "geeks" across the globe will be predicting dire consequences !
One hundred years ago today, on 11 11 1911, the central United States suffered what was known as "The Great Blue Norther", a freak weather event which saw temperatures drop from 27 degrees C at Springfield, Missouri, in the morning, to minus 11 degrees C by midnight. A variation in less than twenty four hours, of around 38 degrees C !
