This Sunday, the 15th event of a scheduled 18, in the 2011 MotoGP World Championship, takes place, being the Grand Prix of Japan, at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit.

Last year, the event in Japan was won by Casey Stoner, then with Ducati Team. Repsol Honda's Andrea Dovizioso was second, with Valentino Rossi third, for Fiat Yamaha, at that time.

In the words, recently, of reigning World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo, "the only person right now who can lose the (2011) World Title is Casey"; as Stoner - surely, despite earlier threats not to ride in Japan - will start the Motegi event with a massive 44 point lead over the YFR rider, currently in second place.

Mathematically, should Stoner suffer any set-backs or, incredibly, fail to show in Japan, Lorenzo is still in with a chance, so the title battle is not yet a done-deal !

Event number 16, as the series draws to a close, will be held on 16th October, at Phillip Island, being the Iveco Australian Grand Prix.
