Last Sunday, 18th September, the 2011 MotoGP World Championship continued, with the 14th event of a scheduled 18, and the Gran Premio de Aragon, at the MotorLand Aragon.
A convincing win for Repsol Honda's Casey Stoner, increased his Championship points total to 284, as standings leader, whilst team mate Dani Pedrosa was second. Reigning World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo was third for Yamaha Factory Racing, and sits in second place in the 2011 series, with 240 points, ahead of Andrea Dovizioso, with Repsol Honda, who did not complete the Aragon event, some way off at 185.
Sunday 2nd October, is "next time out", with the Grand Prix of Japan, at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit, with some doubts still remaining about who will, and who won't, be there !
