Dunlop aims for the Motocross Grand Prix of Italy
Qualifying for the Motocross Grand Prix of Italy, at Fermo, takes place this coming Saturday, with the final MX1 (450cc) and MX2 (250cc) grand prix races of the season on Sunday.
Dunlop heads to this 15th and final round of its 2011 MX1 comeback with high hopes, following last weekend's event at Gaildorf, when a shock return from injury by Evgeny Bobryshev, who delivered a truly amazing performance, provided Dunlop with a highlight of the weekend, as he claimed race one, to take his third grand prix moto win in a row on German soil this season.
Rui Goncalves added to the tyre manufacturer's laurels finishing a solid fourth overall, while LS Honda rider Shaun Simpson grabbed a Saturday holeshot.
Every reason, then, to expect that this coming weekend's Season Finale, will see more "yellow caps" on the podium !
