Avon Centenary Showbike
Dunlop's Business News Service reports that Avon Tyres is continuing its centenary celebrations by parading a special one-off showbike, recently, at the Isle of Man TT races. The machine, a Yamaha YZF-R6 made its first public appearance at January's EXPO trade show, but has since been tweaked with a range of add-ons to complement the manufacturer's own VP2 Supersport tyres which perfectly suit the showbike.
The machine is embellished with the Avon Tyres Centenary logo, and can be seen during the remainder of the year at various locations, including shows, rallies and dealer open days.
Avon's UK Sales Manager Gary Bretherton, said : "We wanted to have a machine which truly reflects the modern edge of Avon Tyres and its products - the Yamaha YZF-R6 really fits the bill."
