This weekend sees event number five in the 2011 MotoGP World Championship series, and the GRAN PREMI APEROL DE CATALUNYA, at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Last year, the Catalunya event was won by Jorge Lorenzo, with Dani Pedrosa second and Casey Stoner third.
Repsol Honda's injury prone Dani Pedrosa has undergone surgery to repair the broken collarbone sustained at Le Mans, and it is unclear whether or not he will be fit to ride at Catalunya.
Jorge Lorenzo leads the MotoGP World Championship at the start of this weekend's race, with 78 points, from Casey Stoner in second place on 66, and Pedrosa, third, with a score of 61.
Then, next time out, Sunday 12th June, and the AIRASIA BRITISH GRAND PRIX.
