Pedal Power !
An intensive training regime, including twice daily 14 mile cycle rides to and from the office, prepared our Finance Director, Terry Pauley, for a marathon "pedal power" trek coast-to-coast recently, to raise money for the charity Outreach Amazon, which aids poor families in the Maues region of the Amazon State of Brazil, providing vital health care work, running a school and ministering in church !
16 cyclists covered the 150 miles from Whitehaven, in Cumbria, over the Pennines, to finish in Sunderland, all in aid of various charitable organisations, and it was Terry's team's aim to raise £5,000.00 which will be spent on a boat to assist Outreach Amazon Ministries' humanitarian work.
