Pirelli anticipates a spectacular 2011 BSB

With a full grid of 38 riders, including John Hopkins and Shane Byrne, plus the introduction of new World Superbike spec. Pirelli tyres, and the agreement of a continued five year "one tyre" deal over the winter, the Italian tyre manufacturer is looking forward to a scorching season with the 2011 MCE British Superbike Championship.

And, the World Superbike specification tyres in use for the series will also be available over the counter, to customers throughout the UK.

Pirelli will continue their philosophy of introducing World Superbike developed tyres straight into National racing, showcasing these new tyres in the MCE BSB Championship.

For 2011, there will be all new compounds of the Pirelli Diablo Superbike tyres, which are designed for increased durability and continued high grip performance. They were first used this year in pre-season testing by Tommy Hill, to chalk up a new lap record at Cartagena, Spain.

At the same time, the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport series also sees a completely new tyre, developed from the World Supersport Championship, being a larger 180/60 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa rear size available in two compounds.
