MotoGP 2011 continues, this weekend, with the bwin GRANDE PREMIO DE PORTUGAL, at Estoril, the third event in this year's MotoGP World Championship, as Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) heads the standings, followed by Dani Pedrosa, then Casey Stoner, both with Repsol Honda.
The Estoril race ran later in the season last year, in October, and was won by Lorenzo, with Valentino Rossi second, and Andrea Dovizioso third.
Repsol Honda rider, Dani Pedrosa, expects to be fit to ride competitively in Portugal, and, just nine points behind the Championship leader, despite having ridden with extreme discomfort in the two opening rounds, he remains optimistic regarding his title prospects this season.
Next time out, 15th May and the MONSTER ENERGY GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE, at Le Mans.
