Things were looking good for the 2011 Repsol Honda MotoGP Team at Sepang, with their riders completing the 1st-3rd February Malaysian test second, third and fifth, Dani Pedrosa, Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso respectively returning the scores.
For ex-Ducati team rider, Stoner, his second only outing on the Honda RC212V proving to be a successful education in what to expect from a machine hugely different to his previous ride.
"The Honda surprises me on every lap", said the Australian pilot.
Meantime, World Champion Jorge Lorenzo, and team-mate Ben Spies stopped off in Thailand on the way back from Sepang, where Lorenzo tested into fourth position, to fly the Yamaha flag before some 10,000 loyal fans !
Just five weeks to go, until MotoGP 2011 kicks off with the first race, at Qatar's Losail circuit, and the COMMERCIALBANK GP OF QATAR, on 20th March !
