Mahindra Racing to compete in MotoGP 2011

Mahindra Racing will compete in MotoGP 2011, with two riders in the 125cc Championship, and so becomes the first Indian manufacturer to appear in motorcycle racing's most prestigious arena.
The UK's Danny Webb, and Marcel Schrotter from Germany, will pilot the new machines in Mahindra colours.
Mahindra's entry to the MotoGP World Championship, follows its acquisition of Engines Engineering, an Italian company that has been constructing race bikes, also providing specialised components and technical support for teams in MotoGP since 2003, designing and developing the Mahindra 125cc motorcycle.
The popular 19 year old Danny Webb commented that it was "a privilege to ride for the first Indian team to enter the World Championship", and went on to say "There seems to be a real buzz about India in international sport at the moment and it would be great if we get a good Indian following."
