Pirelli scorches home at Macau GP

Using Pirelli tyres, which will be available to all racers and trackday riders next year, Stuart Easton took an incredible 1.5 seconds off the Macau GP lap record, whilst notching up a third consecutive win for both himself and Pirelli, at the Asian event in the last few days.

Easton ran a 2010 Pirelli Diablo Superbike SC2 front slick, with the soon to be introduced 2011 specification SC1 rear, which will become a control tyre option in BSB next year, and a selection open to track riders generally.

Easton's team boss, for PBM Kawasaki World Superbike, said, "the tyres have been fantastic all the way through the event. A big thanks to Pirelli for supplying us the winning tyre".
