As MotoGP looks forward to the next Official Test, at Sepang on February 1st 2011, former World Champion Valentino Rossi has undergone shoulder surgery within the last few days, and hopes to be fit to ride for Ducati in Malaysia, following his dramatic decision to part company with Fiat Yamaha, at the end of the 2010 season.
The timescale is tight, with Rossi having just 79 days to complete a recovery normally taking around 90, and after an operation to repair damage so severe that a procedure usually completed in thirty-five minutes, required nearly two hours to achieve a successful result !
