MotoGP
Last weekend, MotoGP was stateside, for the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix, whilst this coming Sunday sees the G.P. Aperol Di San Marino E Della Riviera de Rimini, at Misano.
Repsol Honda's #26 rider, Dani Pedrosa, rode a tremendous race, starting from fifth, and, after taking the lead from the impressive newcomer, Ben Spies, with Monster Yamaha Tech3, came home with his third win of the season, and a much improved chance of taking the Championship lead away from Fiat Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo, who finished third behind American Spies. For the "rookie" Tech3 rider, second place at a hot and greasy Indianapolis circuit, marked his career best MotoGP finish.
Reigning World Champion, Valentino Rossi, was just off the podium, in fourth position.
