Ten out of Ten for Bridgestone's BT-023
Soon to be seen, is a DVD featuring "Mossy", who chose Silverstone as the perfect location to put Bridgestone's new Sport/Tourer, Battlax BT-023, under the spotlight, and who better to evaluate this already hugely popular successor to BT-021, than former GP star, Ron Haslam ?
After several punishing laps of the revamped Silverstone circuit, where the Ron Haslam Race School is now located, "Rocket Ron" praised the Battlax's performance, awarding the tyre "Ten out of Ten".
Furthermore, Ron announced that the Race School Premier and Elite class bikes would be exclusively shod with BT-023, so selecting a Sport/Touring tyre as the best option for this racetrack environment !
As Bridgestone say, "The BT-023, you'll have to travel a very, very long way to beat it". Confirmed!
(BT-023 also comes in "GT" specification, for heavier machines).
