This weekend's MotoGP action takes place in Germany, with the ENI Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, at Sachsenring, when Reigning World Champion, Valentino Rossi, will make an unexpectedly early return to the 2010 Championship competition, being almost fully recovered from the fracture to his right tibia, sustained at Mugello in June. Subject, that is, to last-minute medical approval.
Although not expecting to be fully competitive again until Misano, on September 5th, the #46 Fiat Yamaha star hopes to take part in the German and following USA events, to rebuild his fitness, having "tested" successfully at Misano and Brno in the last few days, seeking to be back in the running by the Czech Republic Grand Prix on August 15th.
As speculation continues, whether or not "The Doctor" will transfer to Ducati next year, Casey Stoner has confirmed that next season will see him riding from the Honda (HRC) garage, a concept which the current Honda factory riders, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso, second and third at this stage in the 2010 standings, may struggle with. Will there be more, high-profile, re-assignments announced in the coming months?

Next time out, Sunday 25th July, and the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, at the Mazda Raceway..
