The crash that cost Valentino the 2010 title ?
It was a freak crash, during practice on Saturday morning, which put Valentino Rossi in hospital, and left Fiat Yamaha's Team Manager facing the likelihood of having to find a replacement rider if, as seems certain, "The Doctor" remains out of commission, after the two next MotoGP races.
Davide Brivio watched the Mugello race, from the #46 rider's hospital bedside, as the World Champion recovered from surgery, and reported "Vale" to be in high spirits and keen to make the quickest, but fullest, return to fitness, in a timescale which can only, presently, be guessed at, but may run to five, even six months !
Will someone ride in the World Champion's place, at Silverstone, next week ??
