Bridgestone and the "Macmillan Magnificent 7"
Billed as "The Macmillan Magnificent 7", is an initiative from www.rainbow-rides.me.uk and on 7th July, (all the 7's !) seven intrepid riders on seven different machines, will embark on a gruelling challenge, to cover more than 3700 miles in - yes - seven days, visiting 14 European cities, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and the Bobby Robson Foundation.
Probably no tyre would be more suited to this adventure, than Bridgestone's BT-023 sport/tourer, and, in a splendid gesture of support for the "Magnificent 7" and their charities, the UK motorcycle tyre market leader will see that all of the participating bikes are suitably shod, with the new Battlax, free of charge!
We'll be covering the ride, here, and reporting the feedback as the BT-023's deal with all manner of different road surfaces and temperatures, with high speeds being required to complete the journey, in the allotted time.
