There was "red hot" racing for the British Superbikes field at Cadwell Park, last weekend, when the HM Plant duo, of Ryuichi Kiyonari and Josh Brookes took a win apiece as the series front runners slipped up.
With such high track and ambient temperatures, the entire Superbike grid opted for the "safe" Pirelli Diablo Superbike SC1 rear and SC2 front tyres.
After the Cadwell event, the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship standings are :
1 Tommy Hill (Worx Crescent Suzuki)
2 Josh Brookes (HM Plant Honda)
3 Michael Laverty (Relentless Suzuki by TAS)
Mallory Park hosts the next round, over 25/26/27 June.
