Moto2, the new 600cc MotoGP class, is certainly delivering exciting racing, with the spectacular crash which stopped the Spanish Grand Prix race, at Jerez de la Frontera, a case in point. The red flag brought a sudden end to the race, as a group of riders went down in a mass pile-up in the opening lap, but a restart after rapid repairs, and attention to damaged pride, saw an entertaining race, from which Tony Elias emerged as winner, ahead of Shoya Tomizawa, and Thomas Luthi.

Tomizawa heads the World Standing in Moto2 2010, with Elias and Luthi, second and third.

Dunlop is sole tyre supplier to the Moto2 grid.

Next time out, Sunday 23rd May, and the Monster Energy Grand Prix De France, at Le Mans.
