Article 205-1

Last Sunday, in round two of the 2010 MotoGP World Championship, at Jerez de la Frontera, in Spain, and the GRAN PREMIO bwin DE ESPANA, Fiat Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo snatched victory from Repsol Honda rider, Dani Pedrosa, on the last lap of the Spanish Grand Prix.

Leader, for all bar the final lap, Pedrosa showed a stunning return to form, and fought hard to keep Lorenzo at bay, whilst setting a new lap record in the process.

Reigning World Champion, Valentino Rossi, was not completely fit, following injuries sustained whilst off-roading, but still managed to take third place, leaving the Spanish crowd ecstatic to see two nationals in first and second positions.

Ducatis were fourth and fifth, under Hayden and Stoner, with Pedrosa's team-mate, Andrea Dovizioso, coming sixth.
